Big Boy Bed

(This was actually about month ago now, but I have been waiting to make this post until after we made the baby announcement.... didn't want to give anything away with the bunk beds :) )

So yes, Holden is officially in a big boy bed now. And not just any big boy bed.... Bunk Beds! He got to pick out his own sheets - Disney Cars - and "helped" Daddy put them together and everything. He also has 2 special stuffed animals he sleeps with and he likes to tuck them in, too. It always makes Mommy smile. And he does sleep on the bottom, but he just loves to play on the top whenever we're upstairs. I think climbing the ladder is the best part.

It took a couple weeks, but I am very happy to say that he is now sleeping in his new bed very well! I no longer find him downstairs in the middle of the night and very rarely even have to go in there to help him fall back asleep anymore. (When it's storming out, though, all bets are off.) So I think we're headed in the right direction.
