Bad new, Blog Friends.

Friends! Oh no!!

So it seems I have hit my limit on photo storage/uploads. :/ (Which I didn't even realize existed.)

Which means, I either have to pay to upgrade or delete some posts.

Neither option is too terribly appealing...

Thus, I'm in a pickle.

And I've been trying to think of solution for at least a week now. Since I last tried posting and found all this out. And not having too much luck.

I think I'd like to turn the older posts into a printed photo book Family Yearbook of sorts. And then I can delete them to make room for new posts.

But, alas, photo books are not too cheap. Especially when I want the hardback kind that we can keep forever....

So until then, I guess I'm just not sure how much I'll be posting.

(Which really really stinks. Because I have super cute pictures from Holden's FOUR year old birthday and also from when we all went to cut down our Christmas tree.)

I really like keeping this blog. And I'm really bummed.

But stay tuned and don't give up on me. I'll figure something out. Hopefully..

Today's Menu: Spooky Ghosts and Slimy Green Worms!

Since Trick or Treat was the weekend before, and we had already done the whole costume/candy thing, I wasn't really sure how to make Halloween feel "special."

So I played around on the internet and got some ideas... and I decided that for a special, creepy treat, this holiday we would Feast! On spooky bats and creepy creatures....

And so without further ado, I give you: Our Halloween Menu!

Read if you dare... Mwaaahahahhaahaa....!

Breakfast was sticky plate-fulls of Creepy Bats and Spooky Ghost pancakes!
(And there was extra batter, so... Spiderwebs, a Jack o'lantern, and one big Spider made an appearance, too.)

And for lunch.....

Slimy Green Worms with Black Eyeballs!

(This was when Jared said, "I think you're taking this a little too seriously."
And I replied, "Mwaaahahahahaa....!")

 Hmm....

 Tasting his green "worms"... haha...

 Delicious!

They were a hit with this kid, too.

                     Shovel, shovel, shovel...

                                  Lunch was... messy.

Noodle Lover.

And THIS silly baby (who is not generally not too big on noodles) sampled, but preferred the "black eyes". Mwaaahahhaha!! ;)

Discussing (possibly.. how weird their mom is....)

 Everybody say "WORMS!" Haha.

And after lunch. Stinker little pun'kin head. Climbs EVERYTHING nowadays.

And.... in all the hustle, I did not get to take photos of dinner. I plated it, set it down, and here's how it went:

Holden: (reaching for his plate) Mmmm...
Me: Wait! Let me take a picture! (looking frantically around for the camera)
Holden: But I'm hungry!
Me: I know. Just one second. Don't touch it yet. (searching, searching...)
Holden: But Mommy, I'm really hungry!
Jared: He's hungry. Let the boy eat.

I lost.

So I'll just have to describe it to you! Dinner was Little Mummies (sausages wrapped in crescent roll "bandages", with mustard yellow eyes), piped spooky Ghost shaped mashed potatoes, green deviled egg Eyeballs, Creepy Veggie Critters, and green hummus Hand Dip (complete with carrot fingers - and almond sliver fingernails, lol - reaching up out of the bowl).

It was really fun. :)

And then it was Pumpkin Time!!

Hmm... who seems to be the only one doing any of the work in this picture?....

 A pumpkin lid bra? Nice.

 Arrrrrrrrr!

We had some spooky playing while we did this, too. It was fun. And set the creepy mood....

 Cut, cut, cut.

 And the littlest pumpkin♥

Bridger has turned into a chatterbox.

And now to Scoop the Goop!

He thought maybe we were supposed to eat the guts. Haha. We set him straight.

Oh! Put them in the bowl! ;)

 Hard at work.

Holden wanted a mean one. And we decided maybe it should be scaring Bridger's - so his is "surprised" looking. :)

And then after bath we read the couple Halloween books we have and finished the night off with the "Great Pumpkin" Charlie Brown special that was on.

So nothing big... but I think it felt a little different and special from just every other day♥

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!

Three Blind Mice!

Well... it was raining.

And it was like 40 degrees.

And it seemed like almost no one was even participating this year.

But WE did.

Yesterday afternoon, I dressed the boys up (in the warm costumes I have been working on making them for almost two months), Jared pulled the wagon, Mimi helped hold the umbrellas, and we were all off on a Trick or Treat adventure!

It was... not my favorite experience. (Know that kind of damp cold when it sinks into your bones? While blowing in your face and making your hair dripping wet?... Yea....)

BUT. Even sans naps, no one cried, no one complained (but me), the boys got way more candy than anyone needs, and we got to make a memory.

And when we were finished, Mom fed us all a delicious warm dinner. ♥

 Gettin' all suited up

 The Big Brothers!

 Mouse One - Holden

 Mouse Two - Bridger

 Mouse Three - Graham

And all together now! The most adorable Three Blind Mice I ever did see ♥

...and like 30 seconds later.  No more smiling, glasses coming off, finger up the nose... it's life.

Dancing with the singing skeleton before we left. Graham LOVES this thing. Silly boys.

 And one with the Momma

Wagon ride around town in the sprinkling rain all in the name of tradition? Why yes, yes we will.

Daddy was a TROOPER.

La la la!  As Holden said, "Happy Trick or Treat!"

Even cold and damp, they're pretty adorable.

Zonin' out toward the end...

And warmin' back up with a mug of hot chocolate from Mimi :)

Hayride!!

This past weekend, my mom's church had an evening of socializing/fellowship... and we tagged along!

We all had dinner together (chicken barbecue.. mmm...) and then loaded up and went for a hayride!  The weather ended up just perfect - not too cold and the rain held off... I mean, what more can you ask for in Ohio? :)

And it was really fun! We got to go on the back roads, through a bumpy field, and even see some cows, sheep, and elk! The boys did so great. Really. And they all had such a good time.

Thank you, Mimi & Pap Pap, for inviting us to go with you!♥

Checking out the tractor and wagon after dinner!

Lucky little boys... even got to sit inside!

  Tag Along Graham.♥

 They were really excited

 Ready! :)

(Can you hear Graham whining here? He wanted back in so bad...)

 "Hi!"

                             Here he comes!

All loaded up and ready to go!

 And we're off!

  Checking out the elk!

I think the coolest part was when we got to hear them "talk" to each other.

 Peeking

Graham liked them too, I think. He was so quiet most of the time! Just soaking it all in.....

And right before we left THIS guy came down from the hill. To check us out... or maybe just show off.
The (seemingly) lone male.
The rock star.
