So we were going to go a few weekends ago, but then we all got sick. Bummer.
So instead we went last Friday. Jared had a vacation day he needed to use, so he took the day off and we headed over to the little tree farm just down the road.
It was quite cold, so we bundled everyone up pretty good. And we walked around for probably a half an hour or so to look at all the trees. I think the boys all had fun. Especially Holden - since he was actually big enough to run around by himself. And since it was a Friday, there was no one there but us for a long time - so run he did!
Jared cut it down, carried it to the car, and strapped it on top. (My, having a strong husband comes in quite handy :) ) And then I decorated it. Talk about teamwork.
We listened to Christmas music almost all day, and once the tree was finished I even wrapped some presents. And then, to top it off, it began to snow. Our first "real" snow this year. So Daddy and Holden had fun watching that for awhile.
All in all, just a lovely Christmasy day. ♥
